Primary Purpose:
Operates grain‑handling and conveyance equipment to safely move grain to and from storage. This role sets up, adjusts, and monitors semi‑automated equipment; loads and unloads trucks, containers, and rail cars; and supports housekeeping and minor maintenance activities. Position requires basic computer skills to run scales and enter data.
Non‑Harvest Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Harvest Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operates conveyance equipment to move grain into and out of storage.
- Loads grain for outbound shipments, including trucks, containers, and rail cars.
- Performs housekeeping tasks and assists with minor repairs to maintain safe, clean operations.
- Operates grain drying equipment and monitors performance.
- Receives and follows work instructions to complete daily assignments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in grain handling, production, or equipment operation.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply work‑related skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to climb up to 150 feet as required.
