About the Job
Night Shift
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensures daily orders are fulfilled accurately, and the department is staffed appropriately for production needs.
Follows and enforces all SOPs and Good Production Practices (GPPs) specific to Black Label operations.
Monitors product quality, packaging specifications, and labeling accuracy; identifies defects and implements corrective actions.
Ensures compliance with food‑safety standards, including identifying and correcting deviations related to sanitation, handling, and product flow.
Drives performance toward key operational metrics such as BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A‑Grade %.
Completes HR and Safety responsibilities, including Kronos and Oracle HCM time‑off approvals, safety training, and certification requirements.
Collaborates with QA, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth, efficient operations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
3+ years of supervisory experience
in lieu of a degree; poultry or food‑manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of
HACCP principles
and experience applying them in a production environment.
Understanding of
USDA regulations
, sanitation requirements, and pre‑operations guidelines.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced production setting.
